During March NHS London will be writing to all patients about the introduction of the Summary Care Record (SCR). This is designed to improve the safety and quality of patient care. SCRs will give health staff faster, easier access to reliable medical information.

Patients who wish to opt out of the SCR must complete an opt out form and deliver this to the practice however NHS Haringey has withdrawn from the scheme for the present time. We will publish more information on what this means when we receive clarification.

PLEASE NOTE THE PRACTICE WILL NOT PROVIDE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION THAT THE OPT OUT REQUEST HAS BEEN ACTIONED. HOWEVER WE GUARANTEE THAT ALL OPT OUT REQUESTS ARE DEALT WITH AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.
