Nurses

Vanessa Thompson is our senior nurse. Vanessa has worked at the practice for a number of years but had a short break when she worked for the school nursing service. Vanessa’s special interests are diabetes and minor illness.

Felicia Ibhazihikholor is another practice nurse. Felicia originally trained as a midwife in Nigeria but has recently undergone additional training for her role at the practice. Felicia is able to carry out a wide range of nursing tasks.

Sandra Cupido recently joined our nursing team, and is another practice nurse.  

The nurses carry out a wide variety of tasks. The nurses are able to advise on immunisations (childhood and travel), family planning, dressings, stitch removal, asthma and ear syringing. The nurses also see patients for checks relating to asthma, diabetes, heart disease and they can give dietary advice.
